Introducing my wonderful husband, Terk!

My wonderful RL husband is now joining the forces behind *Just BECAUSE*! With the growth of the store I am finding it harder and harder to keep up with everything and still try to get outfits done in a relatively timely fashion so he has offered to be my manager! I'm so happy that he has come on board to help me! It's wonderful to have something we both work on together. :) So please meet my RL (and SL) husband, Terk Sak! Here is his letter to all of you wonderful people! :)

My name is Terk Sak – but please just call me Terk!

I am very excited about coming alongside the amazing creative and artistically talented Annie Melson who is the SL clothing designer extraordinaire and creator of  *Just BECAUSE*.

I will be helping her become one of the finest SL clothing lines by HELPING YOU so she can put all that energy into making more AWESOME clothes!! Anything that you need, any problem you have or business related offers related to *Just BECAUSE* I will be there to HELP YOU!

Little about me -- In RL I have been involved with computer and technology for so long I think I was born with a computer in my hand LOL.. I have been in SL for several years and have a lot of SL world experiences. I understand the FUN and the frustrations that we all experience in SL! I know the excitement of finding the right outfit for the right PARTY or special occasion! I know the frustration of paying and not getting what I thought I was getting or not getting it at ALL and then just trying to get help….

WELL that is not going to be the *Just BECAUSE* way – customers are 1^st priority!!

If you have a problem or need customer help all you have to do is send me a NOTECARD and you will have an answer with in 72 hours… I do have a RL job :( but we all know that RL should never stop SL (right?) LOL – I will be working various hours though out the day and evening so just send me a notecard and tell me what you need and I will reply ASAP! 

I may need to get some more info or I may express the outcome and fix your problem right then but I will be there to offer help…

We are going to be planning some very cool EVENTS at *Just BECAUSE* store like LIVE CONCERTS – look for trivia nights and… who knows what will come out of my mind!!!

Okay, this day has not been an easy day, BUT I do have good news - I'm finally releasing this great new outfit for all of you!

TGIF!! With a new release too!

Now the women get to have the *JB* Originals - Urban Blues - blue jeans! Yup, the completely hand painted jeans I made for the men for the outfit "Authentic" is now available for the ladies! This outfit is great for an urban street look or casual look for those not interested in urban living.

I created an woman's version of "Authentic" that I am sure all of you ladies are going to love. Same extreme detail, same hyper realism, and same attitude that the men's version has but with a sexy element! For the women I created a cropped sweater with a more open and slouchy neckline and added a cute little tank top to go underneath. (There is also the long sleeve and full length sweater in there too!)

So I am snowed in today with the massive snow storm that has swept across half the country! It's been fun, but unfortunately even snow days don't mean I can take a day off. Getting "Authentic"

I have just finished my latest men's outfit, called "Authentic", and it is sure to be a crowd pleaser! This outfit is completely handcrafted, right down to the stitches. (Yes, I know I am crazy! LOL! I am a detail person and I just couldn't help myself!) This new outfit takes detail and realism to the next level, but I have still kept with offering you the options you love!

"Authentic" is a very masculine grey and black striped sweater with sculpted neck collar, sculpted sleeves, and sculpted shirt bottom. The sweater also comes with sculpted rolled sleeves for when you need to roll up your sleeves. "Authentic" also comes with the first of a newly designed pair of highly detailed jeans series I am calling the *JB* Originals!  These jeans, as well as the sweater, are completely handcrafted by me. New Change of Plans, but for the Better!

I've been busy all day handpainting a new pair of jeans in preparation for my next men's outfit. It has been painstaking, but the results are so cool! I'm doing away with set release days because if I was trying to follow that I would cut corners on what looks to be my best jeans yet, and that would be a tragedy. So I'm going to continue working every day creating clothing for you all to enjoy and look smashing in, but I'm not going to say it HAS to be finished by Wednesday. Don't worry, this won't slow releases - it'll just make them better! :D I'm still striving for a new outfit every week, but I refuse to cut corners and give you second best. You guys deserve the very best, and I like to give you my best. :)

So while there won't be any more Release Day Wednesdays, there will continue to be lots of releases coming your way, and you can expect them to be the best I can give you. I don't think you will be disappointed. Better details, more details, and hyper realistic! I'm dedicated to making you guys look good and to give you my best. :)

So regardless of my stretched screen images I am postings these anyway. I don't know if they will look off or not. I tried to compensate for the distortion, but since I can't really see the finished outcome from anyone else's screens there is no way for me to know if I succeeded or only just made it worse LOL! I'll have to rely on your response for that. :) So please let me know how it turned out!

NOW FOR SOME GOOD NEWS!! The company I bought the graphics card from is sending me a much better graphics card that is more expensive and will work for my system and I don't have to pay any extra for it!! Talk about awesome customer service! So everything is all good! The card was mailed out yesterday so I should get it next week sometime. :)

Ba Hum Bug! (but not at Christmas)

Frustration abounds. It looks like the new graphics card won't work in my system. :( So now I'm having to contact the people who I bought it from and see if we can make an exchange...or something! I don't know what to do. I am however going to just deal with things the way they are, stretched screen or not, because It's now been a month with no new clothing put in the store. This will simply NOT do. If I can ever get this fixed I'll just have to redo those pics for those items. Who knows? Maybe it won't look so bad anyway and I won't have to change them out. So I'm a bit frustrated and grumpy. And I say a Ba Hum Bug to computers! And in the spirit of Garfield the Cat, I think whoever develops these silly computers and the absurdity of computer parts ought to be taken out back and shot! :P LOL!

Woohoo! A new men's outfit!

Woohoo! I just finished a new men's outfit today! It's called "Casual Affluence" and is perfect for any man for any occasion. Black sport coat, white button down shirt, blue jeans, and black tie! The cool thing about this outfit is that there are so many different options in which you can wear this outfit! I can't wait to show it to you!

Tomorrow I'm hoping that my new graphics card and power supply will show up. If it does then I'll be able to release these latest new outfits on my scheduled Wednesday Release Days! If not, I'll release them as soon as possible. But it shouldn't be much longer! :D

My next outfit planned is continuing for the men. I've been asked if I am going to create a formal suit so that will be my next project. :)

Woot!!!

I'm sooo excited! As you know I have been having major problems with my computer. My graphics card is fritzing and distorting my screen, making it impossible to get pics of my new outfits. This has held me up now for over 2 weeks. I just ordered my new graphics card and power supply last night and I should have them in a week! Once I get them I will be able to get the pics of my newest outfits and finally release them! *Doing the happy dance!* So soon I will be back up and running releasing new outfits for all of you!

I am also preparing for The Great Mitten Hunt in SL! I worked on my Mitten Hunt gift this past week and I know you are going to love it! And while it is a great gift by itself, I don't think I'm done with it yet. I think this mitten has more room to fill. :D But this is the cool part - *Just BECAUSE* was chosen to be the starting location for the hunt!!!! I am beyond thrilled to be a part of this! Hunts are so much fun! I used to have a lot of fun hunting back when I was first in SL, so to be actually a part of one is exciting! And to be the first location is beyond words! The hunt starts December 21st. Make sure you can come out and join it! Hunts are addicting and fun, plus you get really cool free items! And I'm going to start the hunt off with a super good gift too. :)
